Back to Reality

The Grandparents came out to visit us for a little and we had an absolute B L A S T. 

I think the little Peanut had the most fun getting spoiled and tattle telling to Gma & Paw Paw that mommy said "No, No, No, Juice." LOL

He had to make sure mommy got a whoopen before they left hahaha! 

It was so nice to have some familiar faces in a place where faces can come and go quickly. 

I don't think you realize how much you miss family until they're around and then leave. I mean you always say I miss you. Miss you to the moon and back, but it doesn't really sink in until its time to get back to reality. 

Living away from your loved ones makes you really appreciate the time you get to spend with them. 

Hug and kiss those you love. 

Tell them you love them always. 

Time is precious, don't waste it.

Letters To Our Sons

my dearest minion, 

you're at this stage in your life called the "terrible twos"... it's a very interesting stage in your life and mine. Some days are really awesome for you and other days you wear your Terrible Twos badge proudly. It really shows when I don't put on How to Train Your Dragon fast enough, or when I tell you no to fruit snacks and caprisuns at 7:30 in the morning lol. 

when you aren't wearing your badge you're the sweetest boy. You give random kisses and always say "mommy, i love you moreeeee!" You are truly a mamas boy and I wouldn't want it any other way. 

I love you, forever and always <3 

Earthside Journey

A few weeks ago a lovely little babe began his journey earthside, and I was lucky enough to be there and capture it all. 

Giving birth is a moment in life that you don't ever want to forget. 
I love being able to tell a family's story so they can be lost in the moment. 
Lost in the love of their new baby, and be able to relive this moment forever.
It was truly an honor.
